Lo-fi Controls Explained
Practical guidance for reading the result
Warmth reduces the effective sample rate, which softens detail. Increase it gradually because high settings can make bright material sound noticeably degraded.
Vinyl adds pink-noise texture, while saturation adds harmonic distortion. Use both lightly at first so the source remains clear.
Low-pass filtering controls how much high-frequency detail remains. Wow/flutter adds small pitch movement for a less stable tape-like feel.
Render after changing the controls, compare the original and processed previews, then export the version you prefer as WAV.
Create Original Lo-fi Music
Create a source track first, then use the converter to shape its lo-fi character.
